Japanese High School Uniforms

By popular demand, J-List has teamed up with the famous Matsukameya uniform manufacturing company in Nagoya, Japan to bring you a wide assortment of breathtakingly detailed and high-quality Japanese school uniforms. Hand-sewn to order by the talented staff of Matsukameya, each uniform is made of the best materials and is an authentic high school uniform (not a cheap costume), great for cosplay and anime conventions!

We have several styles for you to choose from, in both summer (with long and shirt sleeve tops) and winter versions. Please note that the pleated skirts are sold separately from the tops. Because each uniform is hand-sewn, we're unable to accept returns on these items, so please check the size before ordering (see the size chart link in each product description). Be sure to email us with any questions, too.

Family crests are an important symbol in Japanese culture and perhaps one of the most recognizable crests is that of the Tokugawa Crest, representing the Tokugawa Shogunate that was in power during the Edo period back in the 17th century. The symbol is otherwise known as the "mitsu-aoi" which consists of three Holloyhock leaves that point in the center. A great symbol of Japan's history, crest comes to you in a DX wooden case that's great for storing cigarettes, use for cosplay, sending messages in a cool scroll like form or simply for show. The outside measures 9.5 cm height x 6.5 cm width x 3 cm length cm (3.7 x 2.5 x 1.2 inches) and can store items up to the following measurements 7.5 cm height x 4.5 width x 1.8 cm length (3 x 1.8 x 0.7 inches). A very cool handmade wooden short katana with a symbolic Tokugawa crest printed on it.
