The "samue", in essence is a monk's working or non-spiritual clothing. A very old style working suit used back in the early years of Japan, it's so engrained into the culture that it is still a common sight to see even today. Whether a seasoned artist, carpenter, gardener, or simply just relaxing for the day, this is a terrific "yukata-style" item that's representative of traditional Japan, and perfect to keep you comfortable while you busily work away at your chores. This is a standard large sized samue that comes with matching dark grey robe and pants. Made out 100% comfortable cotton, the robe portion measures 65cm (25 inches) shoulder to shoulder and 79cm (31 inches) in length, while the pants are an adjustable 81cm (32 inch) waist size that's expandable and held in place by draw strings. The length of the pants from the outseam (measuring from the waist to the end of the pant leg) is 108 cm (42 inches) in length.
