| Tatami sandals were a big seller in 2005 and we are proud to have these back in stock for the summer, possibly the most comfortable sandals you'll ever wear! Tatami is the woven grass that makes up much of the flooring in Japan even today, enjoyed for its coolness in the summer and warmth in the winter, and its ability to breathe. The feeling of walking on tatami mats is replicated in these sandals, made right here in Japan. Featuring a strong and durable hanao (strap) reinforced via a small stainless steel button and fine Japanese craftsmanship, the sole is thick foam rubber for comfort of walking, and the tatami allows your feet to stay cool and breathe easily. These setta also have firm tread to keep you from slipping. A wonderful pair of sandals that you're sure to enjoy walking on this summer!
