The "9.5th" game in the official Touhou Project series from programmer-creator ZUN and his circle Team Shanghai Alice, Shoot the Bullet takes the concept of the "shoot 'em up" scrolling shooter game in an innovative new direction. Instead of defeating bosses by pummelling them to diminish their health bars, the game is won by taking artistic, aesthetically pleasing pictures ("shooting" the bullets in a photographic sense) of the bosses with whom you're engaged in combat.
