| Most of us will admit to enjoying the antics of those who are dressed up in full costume to add to the atmosphere of an event. For many, the only time we ever do think about becoming our favorite super hero or villain would be during Halloween. But to a group of very dedicated enthusiasts (which grow each year), cosplay is a way of life, putting on their home made creations and turning into that character for a weekend. For those who wish to join the ranks of even the most hardcore cosplayers, this guide book is exactly what you're looking for. Not only does cosplay mean properly designing your own clothes, but it means finding the right wig or hairstyle, finding the proper materials, using the right makeup, and of course making the right friends to help make that photo opportunity all the more memorable. This book not only provides you with plenty of full color photos to draw inspiration from, but it also shows you the various categories of cosplaying and even the major events that all the popular cosplayers attend. As an added bonus, you'll also get interviews with the cosplayers, which also provide a URL to draw more inspiration and keep up with the day in the life of your average cosplay. Absolutely a worthwhile purchase for anyone interested in Japan's cosplay culture. Written in Japanese. (More like this) (Direct link to this product)
