Are you one of those people who, the first thing they do when they get up is reach for the controller of their favorite game system? This amazing alarm clock makes it even quicker, being in the shape of the old style Family Computer (FamiCom) controller! Officially licensed by Nintendo, and requires 2AAA batteries (not included), this makes sounds from Super Mario Brothers for an alarm! This includes all the buttons that made the game controller famous, its SELECT and START buttons and A and B buttons for an authentic appearance. A digital display in the top right hand will allow you to view the time, and set the alarm. It even comes with a special game in which you can see how many times you can press the A and B buttons alternately in 10 seconds! The controller alarm is 4.75" x 2 (12 x 5.3 cm) and has a flip-out base for a stand. A perfect item for hard core classic gamers, and a cool alarm for Super Mario Bros. fans. Instructions:
  1. To set the time: Press SELECT until the colon appears and flashes. Then press START and the hour flashes. Press UP and DOWN on the keypad to get the desired hour. When finished, press RIGHT on the keypad to set the minutes. Again, press UP and DOWN on the keypad to get the desired minutes. If satisfied, press A. If you want to start again, press B.
  2. To set the alarm: Press SELECT until the alarm mark appears (this will be an AL where the colon should be).
  3. To set the alarm ON: When the AL mark appears (see setting the alarm), press the A button and a mushroom appear. Pressing B will turn it off.
  4. To access the secret alarm: If you score 160 or higher in the game you can access the secret alarm! Just press the A key one more time when setting the alarm to change the mushroom into a coin!
  5. To play the Rapid-Fire Button Game: Press SELECT until the high score appears (the big numbers will be the number of times and the small numbers represent the seconds). Press START button once to start the game. A familiar sound will ring and when it stops the game begins. You have 10 seconds to alternate between pressing the A key and the B key! When the seconds tick down to 0, the game is over. Press START to see the high score. If you score more than 160, you get access to the secret alarm! Perfect for fans of Famicom and SNES! This item is shipped out from San Diego for customer's convenience.
