A positively beautiful example of the PC dating-sim genre converted to the great format of DVD, you can play this game just about anywhere -- on a portable or full sized DVD player, on a Mac or PC or even a Playstation or Xbox, since it's a fully compatible DVD. Super story of time travel and love. If you like this title, be sure and play the other Hirameki games.

An awesome interactive dating-sim game that can be played with any standard DVD player, as well as computer with DVD drive or Playstation/Xbox, this is Hourglass of Summer! A fantastic long-playing love-sim which spans space and time, this is a fabulous new interactive anime game from Japan for fans of hentai games without the hentai. While supplies last, this title comes with a limited-edition art book.

In this great new game, you are the main character, living a normal high school students' life. Right before Summer Vacation you make up your mind to ask beautiful Kaho Serizawa out on a date, but the very next day you wake up to realize that summer vacation is over and he has "Day Dropped," or time-slipped, to September 1st. Going to school in a state of confusion, you find your grief-stricken classmates who tell you that your girlfriend Kaho has died in an accident the day before. How did you start dating Kaho, when you don't remember asking her out? And what were the tragic events that lead up to her death? As the story progresses, you continue to slip back into that fateful summer as you grapple with the awful fate that awaits Kaho-chan. Peter Says:

This is a really cute game for any standard DVD player, which is good because it gives you the option of playing the game on the large TV in your living room. Can you help the three witches-in-training bring the world of the Mages and the Humans back together? If you like this title, be sure and play the other Hirameki games.

Long, long ago, there was a world in which mages and humans existed in harmony. Deep contrasts in their two cultures, however, caused differences that could not be overcome between the two races. The humans feared the great power of the mages, and hunted them, trying to erase their kind from the earth. God felt pity for their plight and created a world of magic for them, which they could go to in peaceful exile. In this way the mages faded from the Earth, and all contact between the two peoples ceased. Each continued on their own paths, the humans that of civilization, and mages that of magic.

A few hundred years have passed since that time, and the mages are hopeful that, once again, the two races can live in harmony together. In the hope of finding a way to bridge their differences, the mages send out their young acolytes for training in the world of the humans. If the younger generations of the two peoples can find a way of connecting, perhaps the acolytes could gain important knowledge that will enable the two groups to live together again. This year three young wizards will cross over into the world of humans... Two of them are elite, and one a total drop out. Can they reunite the two peoples of Earth and the World of Magic?

An excellent interactive DVD game from Hirameki International, welcome to the world of Tea Society of a Witch. Playable on any standard DVD player (also compatible with PC or Mac DVD software, Playstation 2, Xbox etc.), you use your DVD player controller to make selections and advance in the game. A perfect item for fans of hentai games without the hentai!

This game is rated M for mature, due to suggestive romantic themes. Recommended for age 17 and up. The game comes with a limited-edition art book, too.

Peter Says:

I've always been a huge fan of Ai Yori Aoshi, the story of Kaoru Hanabishi, who is betrothed to marry Aoi Sakuraba, the daughter of a wealthy family. This is a two-part game that takes you the story in fun new directions, featuring all the original voice actors, tons of animation, and even mini-games to enjoy!

One day, a beautiful kimono-clad young woman appears in front of college student Kaoru Hanabishi. Unbeknownst to him, the woman is Aoi Sakuraba, who has been his betrothed since they were children, an arranged marriage set up by their wealthy families. In the intervening years, Kaoru had cut ties to his family and its corporate group and cannot accept Aoi, but as he gets to know her, he's won over by her sense of devotion and her kind heart. Aoi sympathizes with Kaoru’s delicate plight and resolves to stay and live with him anyway. And so the young star-crossed lovers, both born with silver spoons in their mouths, start their new life together in Kaoru’s cramped apartment...

This is a dating-sim style interactive game for standard Windows computers. The game is an interactive anime game for Windows and presents dramatic interactive stories that everyone can enjoy. Features full-frame animation and fantastic artwork, and includes not one but two complete games, since you get the South Island Edition and Winter Lake Edition in this special boxes set. Suitable for ages 15 and up. A super title that all fans of bishoujo games should make sure not to miss! Also great for fans of cat girls.

(C) KOU FUMIZUKI-HAKUSENSYA/AIAO PROJECT
(C) KID

Kaoru Hanabashi. Kaoru is a student at Meiritsu University. Since his childhood, he has been groomed to be the next president of the Hanabishi corporate group. But after receiving a very strict education, he left the Hanabishi clan, and now leads a penniless life alone in a cheap apartment. He belongs to a photo club at the university. He is very honest and gentle. Aoi Sakuraba. Aoi was raised to be the bride of the son of the Hanabishi family. She is a daughter of the Sakurabas, a family that has become a major business conglomerate from a tradition of making kimonos. As the family heir, ordinarily Aoi’s husband would take over the family business. Aoi has been training to be a good wife since she first met Kaoru when she was small. As a result, even though she was born into riches, she is very good at housekeeping. She also truly loves Kaoru.
Miyabi Kagurazaki. Miyabi is Aoi's caretaker. She knows Aoi very well, and is well aware that Aoi has loved Kaoru ever since she was a little girl. Miyabi patiently watches Aoi and Kaoru together. She seems to act a bit cold toward them, but she is really a kind person with their best interests at heart. Tina Foster. Tina goes to the same university as Kaoru. She also belongs to the photo club. She is an American who grew up in Hakata and is energetic and outgoing. Still, she can't seem to express her true feelings honestly to Kaoru.
Taeko Minazuki. Taeko is a sophomore and also a member of the photo club, to which Kaoru and Tina belong. Though she is awkward and makes a lot of mistakes, she is always positive and tries her best. Chika Minazaki. Chika is Taeko’s cousin. She is an upbeat, active junior high school student.
Mayu Miyuki. Mayu was born into the family that operates the Miyuki Silk Company. She enters Meiritsu University after coming back from abroad. She also has been in love with Kaoru since she was a child, and ardently pursues Kaoru.
