| While McDonald's is quite famous in Japan, the original "fast food" isn't the hamburger, but something more traditional: beef bowl, called gyudon, basically a bowl of white rice with flavored beef on top. The most famous chain of beef bowl restaurants is Yoshinoya, with over 1000 restaurants in Japan and many more in the U.S. and Asia. This new shirt is the perfect parody of this famous company's corporate mark, because we've replaced the name Yoshinoya with "Yokozuna," which is the name of the highest rank in Sumo wrestling, Grand Champion. It's both pleasing to look at for its aesthetic design and a great joke that will get chuckles from any Japanese who see it. This is a standard men's shirt in black, with the logo silkscreened and cured for long life. Sizes M is available. Please note this shirt is being closed out to make room for more cool designs. Grab your size while supplies last. Sorry, all sales final. (SZM)

| Zen Buddhism, a branch of Buddhism which strongly focuses on the practice of meditation which not only has influenced, China, Japan, and Korea, and in modern times, throughout everywhere in the world. Much of the teachings and practices of Zen are valued for its concept as being a "Way of Life" as opposed to being in a state of consciousness which often reinforced aspects of life such as: A life of humility, a life of labor, a life of service, prayer and gratitude, and a life of meditation. | NAKA130 Asakusa T-shirt ~ Yokozuna / SUMO |
Number in stock: 1 Weight: 250 g. Price: $32.00
Product type: Traditional Japanese item
|
|
| The Yokozuna is the highest rank in sumo wrestling, often recognized by the large, heavy "Shimenawa" rope around their waist. Two conflicting legends state the birth of the Yokozuna, one stating that a 9th century wrestler named Hajikami wore the shimenawa as a handicap and dared anyone to grab it, while the other says, legendary wrestler Akashi Shiganosuke wore it as a sign of respect when visiting the Emperor, who then decided to dub him Yokozuna. Whatever the true legend is, it has brought fourth a tremendous tradition that is a long and grueling, yet rewarding process. Many who love the sumo culture of Japan, are sure to love this fun T-shirt that is made directly here in Japan. Featuring the yokozuna and his competitors, this is fun and colorful shirt that is sure to attract the attention of both Japanophiles and future Japanophiles. Made of 100% cotton, this great T-shirt is white and is size 3L (22" from armpit to armpit, 31" from top to bottom, corresponding to a U.S. size Extra Large). This is the kind of shirt that's being worn across the streets of Japan, and is also a high quality item. Please note, this item is being shipped to you directly from Japan. This is for a purchase of a size 3L shirt only.

| Here's a wacky T-shirt commemorating the hard work of the Japanese soldiers who fought during the war, despite being up against the U.S., which was 25X the size of Japan -- oops. The Japanese text of this shirt read, "Ganbare, nihon-hei" or "Do Your Best, Japanese Soldier." Great design that is both wacky and fun, featuring the classic Japanese flag. | J-List brings you a wacky new Japanese T-shirt, featuring a bizarre message written in katakana, the writing system used for expressing foreign words and names. This is the standard men's size black shirt, available in S and XL. If you're an "etchi" person, this is your T-shirt! This is a close out shirt to make room for new designs. | SHIRT-DEVIL Japanese T-shirt "Dirty American Devil" (Orange) |
In stock in San Diego! Weight: 300 g. Price: $14.95
Product type: Japanese T-Shirt 100% Cotton (pre-shrunk)

| Available once again! Because we love bizarre messages in Japanese, we tried to think of the most esoteric one ever! During World War II, the universal word for the Allied soldiers was "kichiku beihei" which translates literally as "barbarian American soldiers" or better as "dirty American devils" (thus it corresponds to the word "Jap"). Guaranteed to get bizarre looks from Japanese co-eds on campus, this stylish shirt is very colorful, and shamelessly puts out its beautiful kanji message for all to see. Although the "bei" (rice) character refers to America, the word applied to all Allied soldiers, including the British, Australians and Canadians. 100% cotton T-shirt made and printed in the USA. Orange shirt. Size Small is in stock. Please note, this shirt is being closed out to make more room for new designs. Get yours while supplies last! All sales of these close-out shirts are final.
