Peter's head

Peter says: There are currently 230,000 Japanese registered with the Friends System database, including 123,000 females. We've checked the company extensively and think this is an outstanding way for you to make some Japanese friends, whether it's to trade information about Japan, exchange language lessons or find someone for serious romance -- or we wouldn't have put the link on our site. If you are using a computer fully capable of entering Japanese characters but your keyboard only has an English layout, this USB full-sized Japanese keybaord is for you. This mini-keyboard containing a standard Japanese 84 key keyboard typical of notebooks (the number pad is eliminated, and the directional keys and the page up/down/home/end keys have been merged) yet is still sleek and stylish having all you need to be able to input Japanese characters with just a few keys. You have two methods of input with this keyboard, you can enter Japanese using the Romanized spelling or type in hiragana directly through a different mode. You can also switch modes with a touch of a button. Compatible with Japanese-enabled versions of Windows Me/98/2000/XP, this is keyboard can also be used in English only for non-Japanese versions of Windows. Great for students of Japanese or anyone who wants to use Japanese on their computer with ease-- just plug it into your USB or PS/2 slot (no driver required). The size of this super small white keyboard is 23cm length x 10.2cm width x 1.7cm height (9" length x 4" width x 1/2" height). It also has an extra long cable -- 1.5 meters (approximately 5 feet)! It can also flip up and stand on its own when not in use to keep from dust getting inbetween the keys, and its compact size keeps it from getting in the way. Its size also makes it useful as a second keyboard when using Japanese becomes necessary. (Note: although it doesn't say so on the package, this is a standard HID-compliant USB keyboard and should also work with Macs.)
