Here's a deluxe custom-made name stamp with case and ink included. The stamp is made of hard wood and laser-etched for perfect imprinting on paper every time. It comes with a high quality plastic case and red ink pad right inside, so you are never without the ability to stamp your name wherever you are. This stamp is also suitable to be legally used as an official name stamp in Japan, if registered with a city office in Japan.

You can choose between 1-4 kanji, hiragana or katakana characters, and the Japanese staff of J-List will be happy to help you choose the best character for what you want to express. This type of stamp is usually used for names, and there are multiple approaches foreigners can take when choosing a name. Here are three examples:


Most foreign names are written in the standard katakana character set. This says "Dennis."	We can help choose intereting-looking kanji for your name. These characters mean "exit" "mercy" and "happiness" and are also read "Dennis."	Why get a name at all? Choose a kanji character you like and have it printed as large as possible on the hanko stamp. This is ai (love).

Just about anything is possible with these great custom-made Japanese name stamps. The earth is a beautiful, precious place and we need to think of new ways to reuse items that should not be thrown away. These special handmade shoes from Japan tackle the problem, by using natural materials as much as possible, except for the rubber sole, which is a recycled bicycle tire! These special setta (sandals) are super comfortable to wear. The rubber sole is stitched into the shoe and is made from a bicycle tire, with the tread running down the middle of the shoe. What amazed us most about this shoe was the grip -- these are not shoes that slip easily, using the tread of the tire to keep a firmer grip on wet surfaces. A very cool setta from Japan! This is for the vinyl version, featuring a surface of bamboo thread-like vinyl. Length of the shoe: 10.25" or 26 cm. Width: 3.5" or 9.2 cm. The "samue", in essence is a monk's working or non-spiritual clothing. A very old style working suit used back in the early years of Japan, it's so engrained into the culture that it is still a common sight to see even today. Whether a seasoned artist, carpenter, gardener, or simply just relaxing for the day, this is a terrific "yukata-style" item that's representative of traditional Japan, and perfect to keep you comfortable while you busily work away at your chores. This is a standard large sized samue that comes with matching dark grey robe and pants. Made out 100% comfortable cotton, the robe portion measures 65cm (25 inches) shoulder to shoulder and 79cm (31 inches) in length, while the pants are an adjustable 81cm (32 inch) waist size that's expandable and held in place by draw strings.
