The Japanese have worn sandals for centuries, and many men wear them still, often well into winter. This excellent set of footwear from Japan combines both the traditional style and modern sensibility. Based on a thick sturdy foam and rubber sole like most modern sandals, it boasts a woven tatami top and soft, cloth bindings to keep them on your foot. The cloth is decorated in a sakura pattern of blue and pink. Very traditional with an elegant shape. This is an L sized which measures 24.5 cm (9.6 inches) long 9 cm wide (3.5 inches) and 19 cm (7.5 inches) from the thong heel to the thong (the strap that goes between the toes).
