Happi coats originated as shopkeeper uniforms at sushi restaurants and by street vendors, today they are worn on a variety of occasions, especially during the summer matsuri festival season. This Happi has a Japan entertainer theme, with geometric patterns in a black color scheme with a Sumo, Geisha, and a Kabuki actor. Good for wearing to the pool or as a nighttime robe.
