About this product:

In Japanese, "Hikikikomori" (hee-kee-koh-moh-ree) refers to the generation of otaku who love to stay indoors and interact with computer games, watch anime or DVDs and generally shun the outside world as much as possible. It's closely associated to the phenomenon of NEET, aka "Not Involved in Employment, Education or Training," and it's a major part of contemporary Internet otaku culture. This great T-shirt captures the fear these people feel when they go outside and try to deal with the world at large. Great for fans of Welcome to the NHK (which stands for Nippon Hikikomori Kyokai, or the Japan NEET Association), Sayonara Zetsubou Sensei (Goodbye Mr. Despair), which both deal with these themes. This is a standard black shirt, printed by our capable staff in San Diego. Available in sizes S, M, L, XL and 2XL.

This is an original J-List T-shirt, hand-silkscreened in J-List's San Diego office by our trained staff of T-shirt printers (not mass-produced in Asia). The shirt is printed with a "flash" layer below the design, to keep it from showing the shirt color, and heated at 330 degrees Farenheit to cure the ink for long life.
