Yandere (yahn-deh-reh) is an anime term describing a female character who is loving and gentle, then turns extremely violent and jealous to the point of murder. This shirt is a tribute to the best yandere characters in anime, from Higurashi no Naku Koro Ni to School Days to Shuffle, featuring famous phrases in kanji and showing a silhouette of Rena.
The text in the background of the design of an amalgamation of different famous quotes from anime shows, including, Uso da! ("You lie!") and "I'll give my body and heart only to you, so don't look at any other girls besides me!" and "Hahahahaha!!!! Design (c) J-List, created by RIOS.
This is an original J-List T-shirt, hand-silkscreened in J-List's San Diego office by our trained staff of T-shirt printers (not mass-produced in Asia). The shirt is printed with a "flash" layer below the design, to keep it from showing the shirt color, and heated at 330 degrees Farenheit to cure the ink for long life.
